ANALISIS MAINTENANCE dan SIX BIG LOSES DENGAN PENDEKATAN OEE PADA MESIN AUTOMATIC CUP SEALER

Abstract

There are products that are still rejected on the 4 line automatic cup sealer machine at CV. Abirama causing the machine's performance to be inefficient. The aim of the research is to find out whether the machine has OEE standards or not, to find out the results of the Six Big Losses analysis which causes the decline in machine performance, and finally to recommend increasing machine effectiveness based on graphic analysis. This research uses the OEE and Six Big Losses methods. In the analysis, the OEE is first calculated whether it has reached the value of 85% or not. Next, look for the root of the problem by calculating the Six Big Losses to find out which sectors need to be improved. The results obtained in this research were the OEE value in the period September 81.02%, October 81.02%, November 80.83%, December 80.15%. This proves that the machine has not reached the OEE standard of 85%. Then, from the results of the Six Big Losses analysis, it is known that the highest loss element is Reduced Speed. This is due to the production speed setting being made slower than the maximum speed the machine can perform. Efforts to increase the effectiveness of the machine in this case are not necessary because it has become a company requirement to make the machine speed below the maximum speed the machine can handle.
